Piedras naturales y minerales con significado: cómo elegir la tuyaNatural stones and minerals with meaning: how to choose yours

Every stone that arrives at Aluna passes through our hands before it reaches the workshop. We choose them one by one, because we believe jewelry is not chosen just because it is beautiful: it is chosen for what it represents to the person who wears it.

The emerald, the stone that represents Colombia, is associated with love, hope and renewal. Because of its origin in the mountains of Boyacá and its deep green, it also evokes a connection with the land and the ancestral memory of the territory.

Other natural stones and minerals, such as quartz or opals, are often chosen for the energy attributed to them: clarity, protection or balance. What matters is not fashion, but that the stone connects with you and with the moment you are living.

In the workshop, each stone is set in pewter or bronze with two 24k gold baths. Since no stone is like another, no piece repeats: every design is born with the exact shape of the stone that inspired it.

That is why every Aluna piece is accompanied by the meaning of its symbol, written by hand. Next time you choose a stone, ask yourself which story you want to tell: that will always be the right one.

Explore our collection and find the stone that speaks about you: every Aluna piece is one of a kind, handmade in Colombia.
